The firm's history began in 2019, when lawyer ME Justine Basilio, following her expatriation, decided to create her own law firm specializing in the issues faced by her expatriate clientele: immigration, business law, and international taxation. Expats Law Firm was born.
With a successful first establishment in France, and then quickly in Canada, the firm developed a presence in Dubai in 2021, before opening an office in Ras Al Khaimah in 2025.
Today, thanks to its offices in France, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates, the firm ensures the legal and tax compliance of any individual or company during their expatriation, both with their country of origin and their host country. Relying on its expertise in international business law, tax law, and banking law, the firm meets the needs of clients, foreign companies, and individuals wishing to establish themselves in France, the UAE, or Canada.
